it’s Monday, July 21, 2025, and the rumor mill has officially stopped churning; the ink has dried on a deal that sees the Nigerian forward trading one corner of the Egyptian Premier League for another.
That’s right, Ebuka has signed a two-year contract with Al Ittihad, the club based in the vibrant city of Alexandria. This marks a fresh start for the 28-year-old, who’s been bouncing around the Egyptian football scene for a while now.
His journey to Al Ittihad began at Al Masry, where he unfortunately only managed one goal in twelve league appearances after arriving on loan in January. But the past is the past!
Interestingly, Ebuka already has a connection at his new club. He previously worked under Al Ittihad’s head coach, Ahmed Sami, back at Ceramica Cleopatra. It’s a small world, the footballing one.
And Ebuka won’t be completely alone on the pitch in his new colors. He’ll be linking up with fellow Nigerian, Isaac Saviour. Looks like there might be a little pre-match banter going on!
For Ebuka, Al Ittihad represents his fifth Egyptian club in the last five years. Let’s hope this is the move that unlocks his full potential and sees him light up the league. We’ll be watching with interest to see how he fares in his new surroundings.
